Thread dedicated to filmmaker/producer/director/writer George Lucas. He has only directed six movies in his career ("THX 1138", "American Graffiti", "Star Wars", "The Phantom Menace", "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith"), but he has created worlds for generations of kids, most importantly those in the 80's and 70's. As a story writer and producer, he also created "Indiana Jones" in the 80's and gave it to Steven Spielberg.



His other credits as story/writer and producer include "The Empire Strikes Back", "Return of the Jedi", "Raiders of the Lost Ark", "Body Heat", "Indiana Jones And the Temple of Doom", "Labyrinth", "Howard The Duck", "Willow", "Tucker: The Man And His Dream", "The Land Before Time", "Indiana Jones And the Last Crusade", "Radioland Murders", "Indiana Jones And the Kingdom Of the Crystal Skull", "Star Wars: The Clone Wars", "Red Tails" and "Strange Magic". He has had cameos in "Hook", "Beverly Hills Cop III" and "Men In Black".

One of the things I didn't know about was that he was dating singer Linda Ronstadt for 5 years. They were even engaged at one point. She could of been the next Mrs. Lucas.
