Full House Appreciation #30 - Whoa, Baby!

Full House Appreciation Thread

The Show
After news reporter Danny Tanner's wife Pam is killed in a car crash by a drunk driver, he recruits his brother-in-law Jesse Katsopolis (an exterminator turned rock musician) and quirky best friend Joey Gladstone (who works as a stand-up comedian) to help raise his three daughters, D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle, in his San Francisco home. Over time, the three men as well as the children bond and become closer to one another.

In season two, Danny is reassigned from his duties as sports anchor by his television station to become co-host of a local morning television show, Wake Up, San Francisco, and is teamed up with Nebraska native Rebecca Donaldson. Jesse and Rebecca eventually fall in love, and get married in season four. In season five, Rebecca gives birth to twin sons, Nicky and Alex.

30 threads. That is amazing. We love the show!

Melis 04-01-2018 12:27 PM

Do any other shows have 30?

My Kind Of Crazy 04-01-2018 01:00 PM

congrats on 30 threads

Melis 04-01-2018 02:11 PM

Thanks. You all helped make it to 30.

:)

I watched two yesterday. The first was when the buys were being auctioned off and Becky paid $1700 for Jesse. That was also the one where the kid told D.J. they weren't boyfriend/girlfriend because he liked Kathy Santoni and that she was pretty. The other one was when everyone was fogged in and Joey ended up in his bed not knowing Jesse's mom was there.

I remember the auction. Becky couldn't stand to lose Jesse. Then his dad told her she could have had him for free. Lol

I felt sorry for DJ.

I vaguely remember the fog episode.

Oh well. She got him for keeps in the end.

Turned the TV on and this is on. DJ was babysitting to earn her own phone. The kid got his head stuck in the stair railing.

Lol. I remember that one.

I watched the one where Jesse and Joey got a full time job and the girls were sad that they weren't going to be there for them anymore. So, they started working from home.

Melis 04-03-2018 02:26 PM

Another way the show was unrealistic. Most people can't just do their jobs from home just because the kids whine. lol

Barrybgb 04-04-2018 08:00 AM

Definitely not.

I watched the one where D.J. wrecked her new sweater and Stephanie stole a replacement for it. She thought you could pay for it later.

Melis 04-04-2018 11:55 AM

I remember that one well. DJ wanted nothing more than a royal blue sweater.

I still wonder how they got out of the store because they didn't check her bag when the alarm went off.

A lady was going out at the same time and they must of just thought it was her. I don't know. She got royal blue socks to go with it too.

I love that. Michelle did that a few times. "Hi man" and "Bye man."

Melis 04-04-2018 01:23 PM

If that lady didn't have stolen items in her bag, then it wasn't her. I find it hard to believe they didn't stop everyone who was leaving the store. Of course, it's TV.

Michelle was cute, but I wouldn't hire her to answer my phone.
