| Freddy's Nightmares(1988-1990) - Freddy Invades TV!! Here is a thread for the television series "Freddy's Nightmares", which aired on the FOX Network from 1988-1990. It ran for 2 seasons and a total of 44 episodes. ![]() Robert Englund returned as Freddy, who would host the hour-long anthology show, and would occassionally appear in several episodes where Freddy had a part in the actual story. It wasn't always great, but it was a fun and interesting to the Nightmare On Elm Street craze of the 1980's. Can't believe this hasn't been released on DVD yet!. | |||

| I believe there are some things available on YouTube, although I am not sure about full episodes. The best episode is the very first one. It was directed by Tobe Hooper("The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", "Poltergeist") and told Freddy's story. It showed his court hearing, and the angry parents who track him down in the boiler room. | |||

| With Freddy making a comeback this year, it would be great if they would finally release this on DVD. Jump on the Freddy bandwagon. I haven't seen this since the early 90s!. __________________ Relive Or Discover The Most Magical Decade. The 80s. http://www.fanforum.com/f129/ On Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/barrybgb | |||

| Brian Ward at Shout! finally posted about a few things on Shout's forums. He posted on the Freddy's Nightmares saying that he is surprised Warner wouldn't want to capitalize on releasing this with the new movie coming out. That being said, he wrote that he would have "aquisitions look into it." Here's hoping!. __________________ Relive Or Discover The Most Magical Decade.
