I was watching a featurette on filming locations. It's cool that the church used a lot in the film is not far away from an area of town used for "Halloween II" the following year.

Yep, I have it, too. You might remember I bought the wrong movie. I got the remake by mistake. Amazon didn't even want it back. lol

Yeah, no need to unwrap it. Lol. Everything great and creepy and atmospheric of the original is completely gone with the remake. It was a vanilla PG-13 film.
