Fear Street Book Series #1 - Welcome to Shadyside!
 Debuting in 1989, "Fear Street" is a horror teen book series by R.L. Stine that preceded 'Goosebumps' by a few years. Aimed at a slightly older audience than those books, this series always takes place in the fictional town of Shadyside and had average teenagers going against any number of things from human psychos to the Paranormal.  The original series, with some spin-offs, originally ran from 1989 to 1999. It was revived shortly in 2005 and then again in 2014 to today.  A new film trilogy is expected to hit Netflix this summer. __________________

I've not seen any yet but I honestly may avoid them and go into blind with just my nostalgia to guide me.
