I saw part I of the ep where Steven's coworker and his family buy the house across the street. The neighbors were upset because they were black. The family received harassing letters and phone calls.

Oh, I remember that one but not how it ended. Pretty startling for it's day. Heck, an episode like that still would be today.

I believe they stayed. I just remember how their house was vandalized.

Sad. I didn't know all 3 actors who played the Thompson family died 10 years after this ep.

They stayed but we never saw them again.
