Ellen dumped Alex to go to Paris for a dance scholarship.

The weird thing was that we don't see them breakup.

It was done off screen.

I like both couples but think Ellen was more Alex's first love.

I'm still in Season 6 & there haven't been anymore episodes with much Alex/Lauren yet as a couple.

She has just played the supportive girlfriend mostly.

The last episode I watched was her studying the family & flashbacks were shown.

The thing about Alex/Ellen is they were always disagreeing about a lot of things.

I'm not shocked it didn't work out.

Alex & Andy are adorable together. I've really enjoyed seeing Alex make him like a little version of himself.

I don't remember much of either Alex/Ellen or Alex/Lauren. I just remember liking Alex/Ellen at the time. I'd have to watch again.
