This is one seriously odd, but cool, unknown and underrated movie. Dennis Christopher stars as Eric Binford. A loser who lives with hiscombative, wheelchair bound aunt. Eric lives and breathes the movies. His room is a shrine to movie posters and stills. He wants to be James Cagney and marry Marilyn Monoe. But as his life becomes more and more unbearable, with his aunt and co-workers treating him like a loony freak, Eric jumps more into "reel" life instead of real life, and he begins to take his revenge on his tormentors dressed up as his favorite monsters and characters from the movies. Dracula, The Mummy, Hopalong Cassidy, etc. The movie also stars a young Mickey Rourke.




It's a Hitchcockian psychological thriller with horror/slasher tendencies. It's a hard one to find.

I don;t think too many people have. It's a pretty obscure film, but also has it's cult following. It's an interesting movie. It's been years and years since I've seen it, but I remember it creeping me out. It's a hard one to find. It's my latest obsession now. I'm trying to hunt it down. Lol.
