The Facts Of Life ![]() The Facts Of Life premiered in August of 1979 and ran until 1988. 9 seasons and over 200 episodes. The show was a spin off of "Diff'rent Strokes", in which Edna Garret became the dietician at Eastland Academy, an all girl's school, and the focused around Blair Warner(Lisa Whelchel), Jo(Nancy McKeon), Natalie Green(Mindy Cohn), and Dorothy "Tootie" Ramsay(Kim Fields). In 1983, the show relocated to Edna's Edibles, a shop Mrs. Garret opens. | I love this show! I thought we had a thread for it- but it must have been lost in the ff crash. I loved all the characters but I haven't watched in ages. __________________ ♥ Beverly Hills, 90210 Then. Now Forever Anne & Gilbert- Kindred Spirits | |||

| That's too bad. I think it's Channel 1. I hope it continues for the rest of the series. Sometimes they will drop it right in the middle. Watched a Christmas episode last night. Made me feel cool. Lol. Blair, Jo, Natalie, Tootie and Mrs. Garret had to perform a Christmas show at a prison for a bunch of convicts. Blair thought it was a house for little boys....found out it was a house for very big, bad boys. Lol. | |||

| It was. I didn't remember it, but I am sure I saw it. Anyways, Blair refused to partake in it once she learned it was a prison. The others were big hits and, of course, Blair learned her Christmas lesson and sang the last song. The ep was called "Christmas In The Big House". Lol. Here's a tiny pic : ![]() | |||

| The first few seasons are. 1&2 came together, and then they released the 3rd season. Not sure if they got past that or not. | |||
