Elvis and Me

I thought I'd start a thread of one of my favorite movies growing up.

"The story of Priscillia's life with rock and roll star Elvis Presley"

- Susan Walters as Priscilla Beaulieu Presley
- Dale Midkiff as Elvis Presley

Dale Midkiff has got to be the best Elvis impersonator I have seen in a long time. I have had a crush on him ever since this movie. Susan Walters did an excellent job in playing Priscilla.

I watch this movie every time it comes on. I love it. How funny you started a thread on it because I was just thinking about this movie. Tomorrow is the 30th anniversay of Elvis's death and they're probably going to show this movie a few more times this week. And I'll watch it every time.

I love the scene where Priscilla is being driven to the funeral and the song "Always on my Mind" is playing in the background. That is my favorite Elvis song. (I don't know who that song was written for, or if it was written with anybody particular in mind, but the lyrics sure are appropriate for Elvis/Priscilla's marriage)

I bought the DVD on ebay not too long ago.

Yes, the funeral scene always makes me cry. Tonight I watched Larry King Live with Priscilla. It was so great to hear her talk about her life with Elvis and a tour of Graceland.
