Elton had posted something cryptic and people are wondering what it could mean. He said "January 24th. I finally know where my future lies." Now, that last part is a lyric from "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road". People are assuming maybe he is going to announce he is retiring, retiring from the road, or maybe it has something to do with 2018 being the 45th anniversary of the GYBR album.

Of course, this farewell tour is going to last three years. Plus, he isn't retiring for good. He says he still plans on making more albums and hasn't ruled out one off appearances here and there.
