Synopsis
Double Dare is a children's game show, originally hosted by Marc Summers, that aired on Nickelodeon. The show combines trivia questions with occasionally messy "physical challenges". It is often credited with putting the then-fledgling network on the map, and ranked #29 in TV Guide's list of the 50 Greatest Game Shows of All Time.

I can't remember if we had a thread for this. I always wanted to go on the show. lol

I loved Double Dare. I always wanted to do the obstacle course too. Wanted to get down and dirty!. Lol. I watched this all the time. I wished they still showed it.

I liked watching Double Dare too, it was a good show.

I liked the obstacle course, too. I wanted to go on the family version.

I liked seeing mom and dad getting all messy. Lol.

Hehe! Some of the parents really got into it.

I think the kids got a kick out of seeing their parents like that too. I know I would crack up if my mom did it. Lol.

Yeah, me too. My parents never wanted to do it. lol

Hehe, my parents weren't into that, so it's a good thing I never had a chance to be on the show.

They were still showing this up until a few years ago on one of the nick channels. Sadly, things have changed.

That's too bad.

It is, but that's Nickelodeon for you. They don't seem to care much for the older stuff.

Bummer. I want to see some of the old stuff.
