OMG, how old were you when you saw The Dead Pool?

I was alive when all of the movies came out, but I was just a kid when the first three came out. I was way too young to see them. I was 13 when Sudden Impact came out, so obviously I had to wait and see that one on cable. The Dead Pool was also the first and only Dirty Harry movie I got to see in the cinema. I was 18 years old when it came out in 1988. That was same year Die Hard came out.

Nine? OMG, my parents would never have taken me to see a Dirty Harry movie at that age. I was 13 when Sudden Impact came out.

Hawkins: "Hey, Callahan! Don't look so puked out. Better luck next time, fool." *laughs*

Harry Callahan: *grabs Hawkins by his tie* "Listen, punk! To me you're nothin' but dog s, ya understand? And a lotta things can happen to dog s. It can be scraped up with a shovel off the ground, it can dry up and blow away in the wind, or it can be stepped on and squashed. So take my advice, be careful where the dog ss ya."

Well, I saw everything. Lol. My dad didn't care. I don't think my mom knew half the time. I saw a lot of horror films a lot younger!

Great lines.

Wow, your dad was cool. I didn't start going to see those kinds of movies until I was 16, although I did get to see a lot of 80s horror movies and action movies on cable TV in the early 80s.

I liked The Dead Pool, but I wish it wasn't the last Dirty Harry movie. I feel like the character could've gone out on a higher note.

Yeah, it was the weakest of the five but still fun and entertaining.

Yeah, it was. That chase scene with the remote controlled car was fun. I just thought the climax could've been a bit better. It seemed like The Dead Pool came full circle with another killer similar to the Scorpio killer.

You are right. I hadn't really thought about that.

I like those kinds of things when they are cops who always go by the beat of their own drum and always annoy their bosses. Lol. It became a cliche but I like it.
