  Who remembers A Different World? I didn't see a thread for this so I'm assuming this is okay?   How awesome were Dwayne and Whitley? I've been obsessed since it was still on air and I'm still obsessed when it's on in syndi. Of course this is okay.
 I love this series, but I haven't seen it since it first aired. (not sure if we ever got reruns or not, if we did I missed them) It was a nice and fun series. __________________

This used to be my all time favorite show. My favorite couple was Ron & Freddie (I loved the whole opposites attract thing.)
Did you guys know that Kadeem Harrison (Dwayne) was dating Summer Cree (Freddie) throughout most of the entire show? They were each other's first loves. Then Summer hooked Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet (Deniese) up but unfortuantly both couples broke up. The girl who played Charmaine is reportedly married to Malcolm Jamal Warner. __________________

Wow, I had no idea they were dating during the filming of the show. I think it's so much fun learning new things!

There was so much behind the scenes.
*Jada Pinkett was real life friends w/Tupac Shakur and asked him to guest star on The different world as her ex-boyfriend from baltimore. They grew up together in real life in baltimore. Coincedence, I think not. __________________

Well, he's on CSI now. And his real name is Gary. He's 37, has two kids, a couple of dogs and is fortuantly single. __________________

Do you remember that episode where Whitley thought Dwayne didn't love here anymore (Montell Willialms was in the ep) when he took 3 jobs and wasn't home anymore and when she got home, they lip-synced to that ray charles song?
Well, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey made a remake of the song. It sounds SOO different. __________________

I'm so glad Jasmine Guy is on Dead Like Me. Not only because she as always does a great job with her character, but because it is one of very few current series on air I actually enjoy watching.

Did you know that during the first season the show was thought to be so bad that Bill Cosby threatened to cancel it?
Did you also know that the show was supposed to be a fictional version of Hampton University but all the outside shots were from Spelman College? __________________
