In the '80's did you ever dress up for Halloween in an '80's themed costume, or have you ever dressed up in a costume that reflected someone or something from that time period?

I have.

In the 1980's I:
I went as Punky Brewster one year. (This wasn't a store bought costume). I used my only clothes, shoes and a hankerchief.
I went as Smurfet one year and my brother went as Skelator that same year.
I went as Strawberry Shortcake in 1982 when I was 4 and my brother went as Darf Vader that same year, and he was 5.
I went as My Little Pony in 1987 when I was 9.

I went as Barbie one year in the '80's, but Barbie was around before then so that probably doesn't count.

No. But Halloween wasn't anything we got dressed up etc. for during the 80s here. It's become a bit more common these past five-seven years or so though.

As a child I dressed up as a witch, Vampire and a witches cauldron.

I was a Duranie one year. Haha! That one was a real big stretch for me (giggle). I wore my Duran Duran t-shirt, wrote Duran Duran all over my pants and shoes, and I believe I wore a head band a la John Taylor in the Hungry Like the Wolf video.

I was Wonder Woman one year.

And I think I was a valley girl.

No, I haven't.
But I have, for some time, wanted to dress up in 80s fashion and go out to town.
Though, these days...would anyone notice?
Actually, I'd love to dress up as Like A Virgin, Madonna or Cyndi Lauper. Love those girls.

I remember once....some girl I knew dressed up as Madonna and sung Like a virgin....it was so funny.

I dressed up as Boy George one year. I looked really good too. My mom has a picture of that somewhere.....I will have to try to find it.

The only 80's costume I remember wearing was She-Ra. I still have the sword somewhere.
