Hehe, I haven't heard a lot of music from Cyndi Lauper besides "Time After Time" and my favorite, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", a childhood favorite of mine (I would bounce around the room singing this), but I like her regardless. I used to get her confused with Madonna (in looks) and Donna Lewis (in vocals) whenever I heard the song "At The Beginning". I have no idea why.

She guest starred on Disney's That's So Raven as a Art Teacher. She's held up pretty good, I'd say.

I have always liked Cyndi Lauper a lot. She has an amazing voice and an amazing vocal range. I don't think she gets enough of the credit she deserves. I have liked/loved all of her songs.

She had a new single out this past summer that was just awesome. It was called "Into The Nightlife", and it's a great, catchy club jam. Insanely catchy and classic. She was cool in the video for it too. Hard to believe she is 55 years old!!!.

They are playing Christmas music 24/7 now on this station I always listen too. They just played Cyndi singing "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" with Frank Sinatra. What an interesting combination!!. Kind of like Bing Crosby with David Bowie. The oddest combos have the best results. Great songs!.

When I started this thread, I only had one of her Greatest Hits CDs that had the Goonies song included (the only CD I could find that had that song) but now that I have all her CDs, my favorite of all her songs is her pop/latin version of Stay.
