That was cute. Usually I didn't care for Elvin, but that was funny.

Denise was so flaky, but I didn't mind her. I think she was like a lot of kids/teens. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do with her life.

Yes, she was. I remember when she dropped out of college. Claire wanted to know why she waited so long to tell them. Denise was like "Mom, it's my summer vacation." lol

Cliff used to ask his daughters how ugly their boyfriends were when they told him they had one and wanted to introduce him. I think he mostly said it to Denise, if I'm not mistaken

I liked Elvin too. He had some weird opinions, but that's what made him so funny I loved it when they went to the Michael Jackson concert and he bought all that stuff for Winnie and Nelson.

Denise was useful for me. My mum always bugged me how i was lazy and didn't know what i wanted. I showed her some Denise clips and asked what she'd do if i was like that..she said kill me *lol*

The writing for Elvin didn't make sense. They tried to make him some macho stud. Then the next minute, he would be a wimp.

Sondra was Miss Goody Two Shoes, so the camping wilderness store was out of the blue.

I think any parent would be like that if they had a kid like Denise.

I don't think Elvin was ever supposed to be the stud. LOL But you're dead on with the macho chauvinism. I guess once Claire told him exactly what she thought of his opinion. That shut him up real quick.

Although Denise was my favorite, she seriously irked me. Especially when she said lines like that. I understood that she was young, but I just don't know a lot of 18/19 year old's nowaday's close to my age who are so naive. I kind of wanted to slap or shake her to grow up during that scene.

Word. Usually Claire annoyed me with her "In your face" outburst's, but with Elvin I just loved them for some reason. Maybe it's because I hated the character or because for once I thought she was kickass with how fast she was saying her word's at the end of one of those speeches. Hah.

I'm goanna be honest I never could stand the way Claire treated her husband sometimes, she sometimes, IMO treated him like a prisioner who had to do what she said when she said it.
