Corey Haim Appreciation Thread(1971-2010)

It is with much sadness that I finally got around to making a thread to this actor under such tragic circumstances.

Corey Haim has died at 38 years old. I hear it is from an accidental drug overdose. It's a tragic loss.

Corey Haim's 80s Highlights
-------------------------------
Lucas
License To Drive
The Lost Boys
Murphy's Romance
Silver Bullet
Dream A Little Dream Of Me

Very sad. I'll always remember from Lost Boys, one of the first vampires I saw when I was a kid. Prayers go out to his loved ones.

I`ve just heard about this terrible news and i`m very sadden about it. I really enjoyed Corey in Lucas, the Lost Boys and License To Drive. Lucas was his best performance IMO and really showcased his talent, which sadly didn`t blossomed like a lot of us hoped for. My condolences goes out to his family and friends. RIP Corey.

He was great in "Lucas". He had the talent. A lot of people said he was one to watch for. He was great in the 80s. It's a shame it didn't turn out better.

It is Melis. Some of my family don't understand why this has hit me particularly hard. They certainly feel bad about it, but I guess you had to be a kid at the time to really understand why this really hits some of us of a certain age.

I am sad. Thank you for making this appreciation thread for Corey Haim Barrybgb. He did a lot of great movies. Such a shame. A real shame. Growing up, I would watch License To Drive, Lucas, and The Lost Boys constantly. I still watch them. May Corey rest in peace and his legacy in the film industry won't be forgotten... As well as his legacy outside the film industry to those who knew him best - family and friends as well as the adoring fans.

No problem. I was always planning on making one, but I wished I had gotten around to it sooner.

I watched a few things about him last night too. It was on all the entertainment shows of course. He had problems and struggles, but he was definitley well loved. A good guy whose life and career just didn't turn out like many had thought. They showed the last footage of him from last month. He was out with Corey Feldman. That was nice to see. Their relationship was up and down and had it's rough spots, so it was nice to see them out hanging around and laughing.

I just heard about the "illegal" drug ring. That's so sad.

Supposedly, he was taking a prescription drug that was illegally written for him. There was a drug ring where some people stole doctors' identities and wrote prescriptions.
