COPS #1 - Bad boys, bad boys....
 "COPS" is a reality show that follows police officers, sheriff's deputies, federal agents and state troopers in all areas of the country as they do their duty. The show premiered on FOX on March 11, 1989.  On May 11, 2011 "COPS" became the longest running television show on FOX and one of the longest running ever. A former brother in law was a cop here in town and we always thought we would see him on the show when they filmed here. Never did.

The cameraman is always put in a bulletproof vest during filming. I would be nervous working on this show!
