Cruise when he was actually hot, besides in Top Gun and Days Of Thunder. This is a good movie with really good music. The scenery of the beach is beautiful. Of course Elisabeth Shue is wonderful.

Oh, Lord. I was so in love with Tom Cruise it was disturbing. I remember the first time I saw this movie. My older cousin was visiting and she took me (it was the first time I'd seen a "grown up" movie without my parents). I later re-watched the movie on video about 100 times. I'm not kidding.

Maverick was my favorite Tom Cruise character ever, so I have to give Top Gun the highest ranking in those terms, but in terms of pure hotness? Gotta give it to Cocktail. I think this movie was the pinnacle of Tom Cruise's hotness.

I agree that Elisabeth Shue was so beautiful in this movie. I loved their beach scenes.

Hats off to Bryan Brown as well. He was fabulous as Doug - funny, witty, etc. The scene where Tom finds Doug's bloody body in the boat always freaks me out. So sad. But I did love when Tom headed straight for Jordan's apartment and he was so distraught and Jordan temporarily forgot she was angry at him and she comforted him. Great scene. And of course they reunite and live happily ever after.

Tom was hot in the 80's. I don't really think much of him now.

It was a really good ending.

I thought Elisabeth's character's wedding dress was beautiful. I liked that it wasn't a traditional looking dress, which make sense, because it wasn't a traditional reception. Very cool.

I adore this movie. Perhaps I should rewatch it soon, since it's been quite awhile since I last saw it.

I own the soundtrack on vinyl.

I liked the 80s Tom as well. Thought he was very hot, and did a good job in several movies. Including this one. In fact, I had a somewhat of a crush on him

in both Top Gun and Cocktail. I even had a huge Cocktail poster on my wall.

Don't care for any of the movies he's done in the past ten years. There are a couple I have yet to see from the most recent time frame, but I can't be bothered.
