Very true title.

I watched the episode where D.J. stole Roseanne's car. She ended up spanking him hard and then was scared because her dad beat her and Jackie. It was a pretty tough and uncomfortable scene, really.

I also watched a Thanksgiving one where Dan and Mark finally come to blows.

It was Becky and Mark's first Thanksgiving back. Mark kept asking if Dan needed help with anything and Dan kept saying no irking Becky. They both disagreed on how to take care of Becky when she burned her hand and they got into it. This was the same episode where Roseanne learned Bev was pregnant with her and then married her dad.

I watched two more yesterday. The "White Trash Christmas" one and the one where Roseanne and Jackie joined some fancy women's group, urged on by Leon, in order to make some contacts for the Lunchbox. Florence Henderson was in that episode.

I just saw the episodes where Dan learned David had been living with Darlene. He called him A little "B" and threw him out of the house. Roseanne had Jackie take him in.
