| Chevy Chase Appreciation Thread - Because He's Chevy Chase, And You're Not!  I could of sworn Chevy had his own thread, but I couldn't find one. Great for me then!.Chevy deserves his own thread. Especially now, since he is having a career resurgence. This past season, he appeared on "Chuck". This fall, we will co-star in the new NBC series, "Community". And now, he has signed on to appear in the new John Cusack/time travel comedy, "Hot Tub Time Machine", which has a bunch of buddies going back in time to 1987!!!. Plus, there is news of a possible new Fletch movie!. Now, if only someone got the right idea of bringing Clark Griswald back to the silver screen!. I love Chevy. It's been downhill ever since the disaster of his talk show in the early 90's, but when Chevy is good, he is very good. He's gotten a lot of flack of late for bad movies, but it can't erase "Saturday Night Live", "National Lampoon's Vacation", "Fletch", "Caddyshack", "Three Amigos", "Christmas Vacation", and a few others. | he definitely needs a thread! i love Chevy Chase. one of the funniest actors ever. I was watching some of Season 1 and 2 of SLN and just dying  oh the good days__________________ and you won't read that book again | |||

| Marki -How can anyone not know Chevy!. It just boggles my mind. Lol. Yeah, I like the title too. I figured that was the obvious way to go. Lol. Rainstorm -Clark Griswald is just comedy gold. I wish they would do one more and erase the lingering bad memories of Vegas Vacation. Lol. | |||

| no national lampoon movies can ever compete with the vacation movies!! and i actually dont hate the Vegas one. i mean it definitely cant hold a candle to the others, but i am okay with it. maybe just becasue i love ethan embry so much! __________________ and you won't read that book again | |||

| Rainstorm -The direct to video garbage they've been making in the Lampoon series have just tarnished the name. Chevy has to set things right!. Lol. hottlegs6 -VV grows on you a bit more over time, but it really is the dud of the 4. Still, there's always enjoyment to be had with the Griswalds and Cousin Eddie!. | |||

| i didnt like it when the first started to branch out with all the national lampoons movies that werent vacation movies and also the second chrisitmas vacation movie that centered around cousin eddie and his family...even though they had dana barron back as playing audry....the whole movie was pretty bad and lacked so many things...cousin eddie just doesnt work without chevy there because they are so contrasted they have great moments when they colide.  __________________ Last edited by Marki; 06-02-2009 at 02:30 PM. | |||

| First of all, love the picture!. Lol. Cousin Eddie's Christmas Vacation was just horrid. I mean, I love Eddie, and Randy Quaid is great as always, but I agree that Eddie is a co-star, not a main star. Some of the spark is gone when he isn't playing off of Clark. What makes the comedy of Eddie thrived off most of that, and without it, it's just weird, down on his luck Cousin Eddie, and it gets old fast. Still, Randy is great in the role, and no matter what, Eddie can still bring a smile and a laugh your way. The only thing I liked about this one was Dana Barron being back as Audrey. FINALLY!. I wished they brought her back to the original series of films. | |||
