Thread #4 for the legendary power pop/rock band who stormed onto the scene in 1977 (with hits like "Surrender", "I Want You To Want Me" and "Dream Police"). They had several singles and MTV hits in the 80s including he #1 smash, "The Flame", A cover of "Don't Be Cruel", "Tonight It's You", "If You Want My Love", "She's Tight", "Stop This Game" and others. They also contributed songs to soundtracks to such 80s movies as 'Top Gun', 'Spring Break' and 'Up The Academy'.

The new album comes out Friday. I've already read a handful of reviews and they are all raves.

First day. It is going to be a big year for them. An acclaimed new album, induction into the rock and roll hall of fame, tours, and another new album by the end of the year. We'll see if that last one happens.
