Yeah, he was a jerk after they broke up. He called himself the Ronnie Miller Express. -shakes head-

UGH! That was terrible. I still have such a hard time with him reciting Cindy's poem to Iris. Her blowing a gasket after Bobby called her out in front of everyone didn't seem to be enough imo. He was just so nasty. :/ But he did redeem himself when he defended Kenneth.

It just took so long to get there. I know it's a movie but it really bugged me. The sad thing I can still recite Cindy's speech word-for-word at the NYE party and Rondald's defense of Kenneth. :/

Yeah, it did take a long time, but it was a good ending.

That's not sad.

i thought the progression of him becoming cool was alittle too quick for me and that coming out of coolness did too but i think him being cool was over the top because alot of waht he did wasnt that cool it was very dorky....yet they didnt seem to think so. how the girls started to like him was too quick to it was like one second they dont one second they do....but i guess it does show how the popularity structure works.

Popularity can be a funny thing. How it works sometimes. Something, or someone, can just explode overnight and before you know it, people can knock them right off their pedestal.

As long as one of the cool kids likes a person, the he or she is in with the rest of them.

hmm well i can see why i would feel differently about it but in australia the popularity structure isn;'t so evident. Though i can understand that if they hang out with them they become popular so i guess that is ho w it happend ...though when he became above her i can see that if she tried to tear him down again that they would of seen it like she didnt like one of the cool people (even though he used to be a geek) and therefore would be more outcast then she was.

As soon as Cindy liked him, everyone else did. As soon as she hated him, everyone else did. Sad how things work. I'm so glad high school is over.

Me too. I've tried to block it out of my mind, but some horrors are permanent. Lol.

Yeah, high school was horrible. I wouldn't go back there if anyone paid me.

I wouldn't mind being high school age again, as long as I didn't have to go!.
