Better Off Dead(1985) - "Two Dollars!!!"

Here is the appreciation board for one of the biggest 80's cult, teen classics - Better Off Dead, starring John Cusack.

I love this movie. An 80's gem that didn't really get the attention or box office like the other 80's classics, but grew into it's own as a cult classic.

Some of my favorite lines :

"Gee, I'm real sorry your mom blew up, Ricky"

"Blaine, I've been going to this high school for seven and a half years. I'm no dummy!"

DAD : Right off!!
Blaine : On, Dad....

The mom was hysterical with her wild cooking and deer coats, and the crazy paperboy!. Lol. Anybody else love this one too?.

Ricky is hilarious. Lol. I love it when the mom is introducing Monique to him and he just comes to the doorway, doesn't say anything, and then just moves on. Lol. Or the picture he gave her of himself on Christmas!!!. I'm laughing just thinking about it.

I love this movie. Probably my favorite 80's movie. I remember I first saw it because my brother had it on VHS. I ended up taking it and I never gave it back to him. I made one of my friends watch it a few weeks ago because they had never seen it. Such a funny movie.

That was so funny.

Something that I thought was funny (and icky) was the green goo that Lane's mom served at breakfast or dinner and it crawling off his plate. It's funny that all of her stuff turns out like green and weird like that. :lol;
