April Fool's Day (1986) - It's Going To Be Killer!

PLOT: When Muffy invites her college friends for a weekend at her parents' secluded island mansion, they're all ready to party - but the joke is on them. One by one, the guest list is slashed....and people start vanishing. Someone's either playing a vicious April Fool's prank, or there's a real killer on the loose.

TV Trailer:

The cast includes such familiar 80s faces as Deborah Foreman(Valley Girl), Thomas F. Wilson(Back To The Future), Clayton Rohner(Just One Of The Guys), Amy Steel(Friday The 13th 2), Ken Olandt(Summer School), and Deborah Goodrich(Just One Of The Guys). It was directed by Fred Walton(The original "When A Stanger Calls").

Jenny, it is a classic. I've always liked this one. I thought it was the perfect day to make a thread for it! Lol.

Melis, I think you would like it. It's pretty standard, but it's fun and has good atmosphere. A twist ending too.

It's kinda funny that Clayton Rohner, Rick from "Just One Of The Guys", and Deborah Goodrich, who was the girl he liked in the movie, are a couple in this one.

Graveyard Shift was nothing to write home about.

Unfortunately, yes. Did you? It really only shared the title. Otherwise, it had nothing to do at all with the movie or it's premise. I fast forwarded through the entire thing. Lol.

I recently watched this one again. Maybe it's not a classic like others of it's time, but it just has a quality I like.
