Anthony Michael Hall Appreciation Thread - Because He's Farmer Ted!

Anthony Michael Hall was truly one of the most well known kids of the 80's. Besides being the youngest cast member of "Saturday Night Live", he became a John Hughes regular in films like "Sixteen Candles", "The Breakfast Club", "Weird Science", and "National Lampoon's Vacation", as well as other 80's films such as "Out Of Bounds" and "Johnny Be Good".

I always thought Anthony was a talented comedic actor in his Hughes films, especially "Sixteen Candles", where his geeky Farmer Ted character was played to perfection.

He's great! I haven't seen his recent work, but I definitely love his 80s stuff!

I haven't seen any of his "Dead Zone" TV show, but he was in "The Dark Knight", although it took me a while to realize it was even him!. Lol.

The older he has gotten, the more he doesn't really look like himself. Lol. There was some red carpet function and both he and Molly Ringwald were there, and she was like "Oh my god!. I almost didn't recognize you!".

Yeah, he's not the awkward, dorky guy that we once knew.

I think he got into working out and whatnot. He got bigger as he got older. Lol.

He probably wanted to play different roles, too.

I'm sure. He was always the geeky type in his 80's movies, except for "Johnny B Good".

I don't blame him. I wouldn't want to always play the same type of role.

I wouldn't either, especially if it's always the nerdy type. Lol.
