The 80s - Aliens #3 - "That's it, man. Game over, man. Game over!"

Aliens was a 1986 sequel to the original film from 1979. James Cameron directed. Sigourney Weaver starred. Ellen Ripley is rescued after being in Hypersleep for 57 years. She, along with a crew of marines, returns to the colony where more aliens await them.

Trailer:

Michael Biehn, Paul Reiser, Bill Paxton and Lance Henriksen co-star. Many sequels followed but this was the only 80's entry.

I think it is great how James Cameron made a sequel that really set itself apart from the original. While the first was a science fiction horror film, Cameron's sequel was more of a bigger scale action film.
