i was at our mall here recently and it was pretty cool. just doesn't have the same vibe it used to.

Our old mall was so cool at Christmas. They had different animated scenes throughout and Santa sat on a fake log cabin porch. There were wood beams so it had a cozy, cabin vibe throughout the mall. At night, the lights were dimmed a bit. It was so special. Now, it's pretty standard. White icicle lights hanging from the beams and that is it.

I've been there. It's by Seattle.

I love those old counters and areas in stores that looked like that.
