I really can't stress enough how much the horror movies of the time were a huge part of my childhood. Constantly watching them. I have so many great memories of renting everything. It was fun because a lot of the time I would have a friend over and we would pick a character to be at the beginning and see what would happen to us. Lol.

There was this one cool video store we had in the 80's where the horror section was in a corner. You walked up a little platform into a hut-like room where it was dark with these tube lights going around the walls.
