It isn't just amazing what I got to watch as a little kid, but what my friends did too. No parent batted an eye when my friends would come over and watch horror movies. Some went to the theater with me and my dad too. The girl down the street would sometimes rent them as well and invite me down.

It just seemed like everything was more lax back then. No parent thought twice of it. Well, mine and a few others I knew. We vegged out on them.

Even though my dad always enjoyed the movies whenever he watched with me, I think he was also embarrassed as well when we rented them. After all, he was the one who had to take it up to the front and pay for it.
