Thread #10 to discuss anything 80's horror related (That doesn't already have it's own thread.) Movies, TV shows, etc.

Thank you! Make sure you do that.

You got a lot of movies in the OP.

Thanks. Collective pictures are hard to come by. I tried to find video that encompassed all the fun of it in movies and TV.

good idea

I am surprised there aren't more horror films on or about 4th of July. Every other holiday seems to have one. There was one in the 90's though called "Uncle Sam".

Melis 07-04-2018 11:49 AM

Too bad there isn't.

Does anyone remember what the first horror film they saw was?

Melis 07-16-2018 11:57 AM

Sleepaway Camp 2 - I saw it at a sleepver party.

That's cool. I wish I knew mine but it is hard to pinpoint. It was early 80's though. It could of been 'Halloween' or one of the sequels or F13.

Melis 07-17-2018 09:42 AM

You saw so many. It's hard to know your first.

It's easy for me since I rarely saw any back then.

Plus, my parents (well, my dad) were pretty lenient with this stuff. He had fun with it almost as much I did! He still does. To this day, he will still ask me what that movie was where you could see a hand in the corner of the picture squirting ketchup from a bottle on the wall to be blood splatter. Lol. That and other things.

Melis 07-20-2018 11:31 AM

Glad your dad loved the movies as much as you.
