| 80s Heart-Throbs Thread 1: Can you say, Tiger Beat? LOL I didn't see a thread like this open, so I decided to make one. Right now, I've been completely gushing over River Phoenix. The 80s incarnation of James Dean, imo. | Hehe, you know? I really feel like if River Phoenix were alive today he'd be an academy award winner! There was a sad quote that I read about him that came from Joaquin Phoenix...can't find the link to the site or the precise words, but basically Joaquin mentioned how now, more than ever, he would like to continue the talks they had about being old together and swapping stories... | River is high up on my list of heart throbs. So talented too, I also think he would've been nominated to an Academy Award by now if he had lived. Corey Feldman. | Michael Paré - of course. Thanks to Emma (Jerseygirl) I got to see Eddie and the Cruisers recently for the first time. He was so hot in that movie. Christian Slater - he has something slightly similar to Kiefer, not in looks of course but in appearance (great voice, great charisma). Johnny Depp - well I've been a fan ever since 21 Jump Street. Especially in The Lost Boys I also still get all  over Michael Paré especially in Streets of fire and Eddie and The Cruisers I used to have a huge crush on Rodney Harvey. Not that many remember him but I just loved him. Really sad when I read that he had died from an overdose a couple of years back. Lou Diamond Phillips was also one of my favourites | |||
