I remember when they did those cans! I loved that. I even saved one for a time but got thrown out after a while.

The McDonald's Halloween Happy Meals debuted in 1986 and were originally a McDonald's Happy Meal sold only at the McDonald's Restaurants in the Boston area but it wasn't until 1987 that all McDonald's started carrying the Halloween Happy Meals and have been doing them ever since and the Halloween Pails have been collector's items for Happy Meal toy collectors. I had some of those Halloween pails from when I was a kid and I have a witch pail and a pumpkin pail from 1989 and then they added a ghost pail to the line in the 90's and I used them when I would trick or treat as a little girl
