*UPDATE*

Teen Wolf - MTV is shooting a pilot for a Teen Wolf TV series. From what is being reported, the show will be a "dramatic thriller" with some friends who provide comic relief, will be set in high school, have a romantic plot line, and will explore the horror genre and werewolf mythology.

*UPDATE*

National Lampoon's Vacation - I don't like the sound of this. With Chevy back in the spotlight again, I was hoping it would kick off a new Vacation movie or something. According to moviehole.com, a new one is on the way....but it's not a Chevy starring film. Apparently, a new Vacation is in the works focusing on Clark's now grown son, Rusty Griswold, trekking his clan to who knows where. They say that no deals are in place, but it's a "possibility" that Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo could appear, this time as grandparents. Sounds like cameos to me. I'm not happy.

I'm all for Rusty being grown like he should be with kids of his own, Audrey too, but a Griswold vacation means Clark and family. This is similar to an idea I had for a sequel, but it needs to be starring Chevy.

*UPDATE*

Ghostbusters 3 - A couple things. Director Ivan Reitman is pretty much attached to return to direct. It's not 100% certain, but rumors going around say the job is his if he wants it. He was always going to be involved in some way(like a producer or something), but who would get the director's seat has always been in question. Also, a little story detail has emerged. In the new script, the ghostbusters business re-opens as it has apparently been closed for some years when the new fillm starts.

I'm getting excited, especially if Reitman returns to direct. It looks like this is really happening. I just hope all the things we come to expect are there - the GB headquarters, the ecto-1 car and all that.

*UPDATE*

Ghostbusters 3 - I am starting to get annoyed with all the mixed signals coming from this movie. Reports are always saying that everyone is on board, everyone is doing it and this and that. Last week came a report that a final script has been completed and "approved" and things were a go. However, now comes Bill Murray in a new interview who says that he absolutely won't do the movie if the script isn't really good. So, that "approved" script was obviously nonsense, since Bill's words indicate that not only isn't there an approved script(or script at all maybe?), but that he also certainly hasn't read anything. That script better be good!.

Beverly Hills Cop 4 - Some new news about the upcoming sequel is coming out, and for once, it's some positive news!!. Moviehole is reporting that Paramount Pictures wants John Ashton to return in the new film as Taggart. Taggart has long since retired as we learned in Part III, but he gets roped into whatever is going on in the new film.
