The music and soundtrack is just as famous and beloved as the movie. What do they possibly think they can do?!.

No kidding. Singing and dancing makes me think Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. Lol.

DD took place in the 60s, didn't it?. Wonder if it will stay that way or change?.

I think you're right. I am not sure. That time period may not appeal to today's youth.

*UPDATE*

Heathers - The 1989 Winona Ryder/Christian Slater black comedy looks to be joining a few other notable 80s movies on TV. According to some reports, the show is being spun off into a new TV show on Fox.

Another example that creativity is running low in Hollywood, especially in TV.

Me too. At one point, just a few, short years ago, I had upwards of 10 or more shows that I watched. Now, I have about 3.

Unfortunatley. I actually wrote a letter to TV Guide a week or so ago saying how awful TV is and will it ever come back. Lol.

It would be cool if they did.

I wonder if my letter will be published?. That would be sometihng. I actually wrote two. One to the Letters section of the mag, and another to Matt Roush, who has a column in the magazine.

*UPDATE*

Rambo 5 - A new film has officially been greenlighted. Sly will write and direct again. The plot will have Rambo going against traffickers and drug lords when he tries to rescue a young woman who was kidnapped along the US/Mexico border.

-peeks into the thread with one eye closed-

I'm always scared to click on this thread. I'm not a fan of Rambo, so this doesn't bother me.

Did they publish your letter?
