There was this one movie that really creeped me out. It was called "One Dark Night". I think it was 1982 or around there. It had one of the creepiest vibes and tone of movies of that era. This girl had to stay overnight in a mausoleum as a dare/initiation kind of thing. One of the recently dead was some kind of wizard or involved in black magic or whatever. He supposedly had powers. Of course, corpses start coming to life and floating thru halls. It was just so very, very creepy!.

I watched another one last night called "The Boogens" from 1981. Kinda slow, but well made with nice atmosphere.

Saw RZ's "Halloween II" as well. Strange, brutal film. I just heard that they are preparing "Halloween 3D" for next year!.

I finally watched Prom Night. I might need to watch it again, but I wasn't impressed. It had a really slow start. I had a hard time sitting through the whole movie.

Ooo interesting. You know I cant really complain that alot of movies are coming out in 3D. I find it pretty cool to watch, though at times the glasses do hurt my eyes a bit, it is still fun to watch.

Melis - I like some horror movies like that, that take their time and set the atmosphere and all. So many horror films are so fast and don't take the time.

Jenny - I have yet to experience any of the recent films in 3-D. I got some on DVD, but it's not the same. However, I will most definitley be checking this one out!.

I saw the remake of My bloody valentine in 3D and that was pretty cool. Also saw the Final Destination on saturday in 3D, that was also cool looking because it looked like the deaths were right in your face like you were about to get hit

I bet they were cool!. I can never get anyone to go with me, and I hate going alone. Lol. I did like the MBV movie very much, even without the 3-D.

Some news came in about Halloween 3-D that, if true, has me happy :

Bob Weinstein said there was a director with "horror experience" circling the next movie and has a "different take". But he refused to name the guy. This morning, an inside scoop is alerting web sites that the director in question is Steve Miner. This makes me happy. Steve directed Friday The 13th 2 And 3 and directed Halloween H20!!!. I hope this one will be a more classic, traditional Halloween movie with Miner at the helm....if it is indeed true.

That would be crazy. I remember a scene in The Final Destination movie where someone landed on a stake like thing right in their eye and it was so close to your face, I jumped alittle. I dont like anything that has to do with objects touching eyes, OUCH!.

Thanks
