I remember a picture book about a little girl who had a baby brother she didn’t want so she “lost” him somewhere! I don’t remember the title.

And later on, I read “The Dollhouse Murders” by Betty Ren Wright (?) that I got at a book fair and I remember at the climax, I felt like I was watching a horror movie suspence moment and was so hooked like I never was at the end of a certain chapter, my eyes must have been so wide it’s still a good mystery book, I have a copy of it in my closet!

"The Dollhouse Murders" was a children's book? Lol.

Me too. We would get those in school. It was a great feeling when you saw something you wanted and then exciting when it came.

This is happening. A live film version of this book series -

I think so. Guillermo Del Toro is involved and it sounds like it could be a creepy good time!

Anybody remember the Amelia Bedelia series of books? I know they weren't original to the 80's, but there were some still in the 80's. I remember my grade school library getting them all the time and I would usually read them.

I liked Amelia Bedelia and the Baby. She had to look after a baby called Missy!

I didn't really like Amelia, cause even then, I knew she was a bit too stupid to be functional, she shouldn't have been in charge of the poor baby

Oh, the baby! I completely forgot about that. Yeah, she took what her employers said literally. She didn't seem to be all there. Lol. If she worked for me I would certainly think twice of her looking after my baby.

Oh you do? That's cool. I never actually owned any of them. I would just read them when we either had quiet/reading time in Library or checked them out.
