1980s books

I read all the Ramona books, Judy Blume, Enid Blyton (especially the boarding school ones), and all the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

I remember reading the books about Fudge and his older brother. Tales Of A 4th Grade Nothing, Super Fudge, etc. I loved those.

Good thread idea!

James and the giant peach is one of the first books I ever read.

Anybody remember Encyclopedia Brown?. I read a lot of those in school. I think there was even a TV show on HBO.

The TV show is just a faint memory, but I devoured the books. Could never wait to get to the end and solve the mystery.
