| Kate was great yesterday I think you can see how glad she is to have a place for a new beginning and she shows us how much she likes it,  she starts with the dancing and ended it with it. | Can I be added? Addison is one of my favorite TV characters ever. I'm so glad she has her own show now! I loved her speech and the dancing -- she's great. Although, after the speech I thought for sure they were all going to be like " Uhh, I was going to vote for you to stay anyway." | I was waiting for that, too. I do think they were all going to vote for her to stay. That look that Cooper gave Addison and Naomi when he 'asked' them to come into the conference was too silly for the meeting to be about booting Addison out. I did kinda expect one of them to say that, though. So who was not at all surprised that we literally got a split-second reference to Addison's departure on GA? Derek didn't care. Mark apparently really didn't care, seeing as he came to Seattle for Derek not Addison. I can't say I'm surprised with the way things went on GA in regards to Addison's departure. I already love that she is needed by someone on PP. I love that Naomi needs her and wants Addison to be there. It is about time that people started to realize how great it is to have Addison around! | Master Fan  | omg i was soooooo not happy when Mark said he came out to Seattle for Derek and not Addison. That is such crap and we know it. I hate hate hate when writers go and make a character say something to cancel out their earlier actions and feelings just to fit the current storyline. He spent all of season 3 hooked up on Addison, flirting with her and trying to get her back and then doing that 60 day bet, none of that had anything to do with Derek. And who was the one that called him and asked him to come to Seattle in the first place? Addison, so obviously he came there for her. | ^ Exactly! I couldn't have said it better myself! They don't have Addison to keep Mark around so they need to change history to make it where Mark came to Seattle for Derek not Addison. It is ridiculous! He didn't pine after Derek all this time. Sure, he has tried to resume their friendship at various intervals yet that was nothing compared to his interactions with Addison and his attempts to create a future with her. | |||

And I'm all for Derek and Mark being friends again but they could have done that without rewriting history and insulting the relationship between Mark and Addison. | ^  It's like she was just this insignificant part and not even "I miss her but life goes on." They just seemingly totally overrode that she'd ever mattered and that really bothered me. I get that the characters and show have to move on but you can move on without forgetting the past and its importance. | |||
