I'm not surprised. As far as I remember they rarely had any scenes together at the beginning of the season and when they had a scene, they were arguing. I didn't like those scenes at all.

I liked the askikng out scene but apart from that it went downhill.. only in the last 5 or 6 episodes of the season it got better again

At first I also thought he should fight for her, but then I realised that it wouldn't be too realistic. I mean what could he do? Stalking her, or giving her big love declarations, while obviously they weren't in love at all. They were attracted to each other but not in love. If they were dating, it could change to something more, but at that point they weren't there yet (and they are not there now). I mean, they are both adult people, and I guess in that age people do not fight for someone they are just attracted to. IMO it would annoy Addison much more than impress her, if he tried to destroy her relationship with the other guy.

hmm I dont know.. suddenly being totally serious with Violet doesnt seem too realistic to me either and he still did it. If he had a guinine interest in Addison (which it seemed to me he had at the end of season 1 when he waited in front of her door for a long time) he should have at least fought a bit for her, like any other guy would do if he has an interest in a woman. but I have to admit that I like it that they got to know each other better throught the season and seem to be good friend by now. Still I hope for more.. someday.

I still would have liked to have seen him make an effort and show her that he was interested and wanted to get to know her better instead of giving up so easily but I'm glad they at least were able to build a stronger friendship since then. They have amazing chemistry and so much potential and I'd still like to see them together eventually.

This the good side of them not being together right away
and all best couples take their time together be it they were and broke up or whatever so could be a good sign

Yep, if Addison and Pete are supposed to be together at the end, then it's better that they become frineds before that. Actually it's true about any couple. If Pete/Violet are the end game, it's also good that they were friends before the hook-up happened. I believe that any good relationship should be founded on the friendship.

I still hope fior Addie and pete in the end. I mean its those two we have been focused on before pete and violet .. and well I hope for pete and addison to happen.. I just could put up with one other man in Addisons life ánd that would be mark hehe

We'll see what happens with the new season. Hopefully they will continue to grow closer.
