Elizabth - I think that maybe he knows that Addie is her... the woman he is talking about, I think that deep down he definitely knows.. and that he maybe waits for Addison to make the first step to be with him, those two are extremely stubborn... I guess they will dance around each other, built up the tension.. until they just cant hold it up anymore

I love their chemistry. Jealous Addison, priceless! There's always some good tension around them, they simply have to get together. And Pete's speech at the end was just sweet.

I'm so glad Addison went to LA. Pete is the first one I can really imagine with Addison. All her other relationships didn't have the spark that she now has with Pete and they are not even together yet!

I just loved when Pete asked her if she needed him to kiss her again. It was so obvious that despite his ego in that moment, he was clearly hoping she'd say yes. That was a cute moment.

hmm well I think Addison had a spark with all the men she had been with. Kate walsh has chemsitry with absolutely everyone

and I loved the scene when he asked her if she wanted to be kissed again. in that moment I was so hoping that he would just lean in and do it

I'm not talking about Kate, but Addison.

For me it was just pathetic how Addison begged Derek to take her back, despite the fact she knew about his feelings for Meredith. They were doomed from the start.

With Mark, it was never love, and the moment her arrived at SG he was just used to get back at Derek after she found out about him and Meredith again.

Alex was just there to boost her bruised ego, it was just about sex, like with Mark, she never wanted to be in a real relationship with them. Mark knew it too, that's why he told the lie about his cheating.

With Pete things are different, it isn't just about sex, there's some sexual tension, but the sparks are still flying, with the others the flames burned down rather quickly.
Pete could be the "real" one for her. Not just trying to get her into his bed as some sort of male conquest, but getting to her know her, being her friend before there may be more.

still Addison had a spark with them. the scene in the nursery with Derek. you really saw the spark there when they kissed

she had a spark with alex when they were talking about the vanilla latte. gosh the sparks were already flying when she told her that his ass was hers until she´d say otherwise

and with Mark... I love Maddison. Mark really loved her .. and I am sure she loved him as well, she just didnt want to go through all of that history again. I loved their banters, and the spark.. when he asked her if it was really all about sex... was intense

still I love pete and addison but I still think she had sparks with everyone she had been with.

I guess we have to disagree.

I don't think Mark loved Addison, 'cause I don't think he even knows what love is. And I'm sure Addison never loved Mark, otherwise she wouldn't have aborted the baby.

Alex, well Alex is Alex, never turning down a good lay. Addison momentarily swooning over him was just as bad as watching them all swooning over Dell in PP.

And Derek, didn't see any sparks flying at all. He only ever had eyes for Meredith.

But since none of them is there anymore, I'm glad and it doesn't matter anymore, 'cause they are simply history now. And I hope it stays that way.

I think Mark loved her very much, he just couldn't think too much outside of his pants. Yet by the end of the last season it seemed like he had really changed. He was willing to forgo sex and have a baby with Addison. That he told her he broke the agreement just to spare her feelings, I think that was his way of loving her and letting her go.

I wasn't a big Addisex fan but I do think he cared for her. He was just way too staunch to ever let it progress from anything more than flirting/purely sex into a relationship with a superior. That's why I think he didn't totally give himself over to her. And, he fell in love with Ava.

She was hot with Derek the few times when Derek wasn't hung up on Meredith but was trying to make it work with Addison. And, seriously, there were "few" times.

Now we have the build up to Addison/Pete! I know we should be talking about them here and not her past relationships but I think that Addison's past will really factor into how/if things progress with Pete. I don't see her being very willing to jump into a relationship. She learned with Derek that just because you think it is forever doesn't mean forever. Feelings change and people change. She learned from Mark that the grass is not always greener on the other side and you can't keep walking across your neighbor's lawn hoping to find greener grass over there. (Weird analogy, I know.) Then I kinda think that Alex taught her that she is still sexy but she isn't looking for someone temporary or insignificant.

I think Pete is very different than any man she's ever even flirted with before. And I like that. Yet I do want it to build very slowly.

Mark tried to change, but I don't think he would have been able to make it last. He cheated on Addison the first time and sadly he probably would have done the same thing again.

The first real feeling I saw with Alex was when he has been with Izzie, but he blew it up, then with Ava it could be love, but with Addison it was just fun, not love, her cared for her, but not as a lover.

Sorry, but I really didn't see any good with those two. Meredith was always a big shadow hanging over them.

I'm just glad she found Pete. And as you said Pete is different, and in my case a better kind of different than those others she had her flings with. It's because they are building it slowly that I think they have a chance together, not rushing into anything, just to get the edge off, but getting to know each other first as friends, before they take their relationship a step further and maybe take a walk on the greenest grass together.

Pimbolina - Mark knows what love is. he loved her so much that he let her go. I think that is one of the biggest things you can do for a person

Alex- well I guess he didnt know how to appreciate Addisons closeness... when he first fell for her he maybe didnt think that she would return his feelings, and when he did.. Alex got scared because he knew that Addison wanted to have the whole package.

Derek- I remember the scene in the rain, where they were talking about no anastasia and then he kissed her.. they were sparks flying.. and also during the scene with the poison oak.. it wasnt a romantic scene.. but sure as hell I saw sparks flying

Exactly- Mark was big enough to let her go, which showed just how much he loved her

And I agree with you about everything you said about building up to Pete and Addie. She learned a lot from her past relationships and yes I think its different with Pete. They have sparks flying even without having a potential relationship yet.. still.. I think there is more to it. They have to really get to know each other.. PEte has to overcome his fear of commitment.. letting a woman into his life again and Addison has to learn to trust men again. To trust them enough to let herself fall in love again. I think Pete is a honest guy but he cant garantie to never hurt her. I still their relationship (if they will have one) should be a long process .. they should have a friendship first.. a close one.. I would love to see them talking things through, talking about their feelingsm, their expectations, wishes for the future. I would like to see them develop soemthing that ends up that they know they cant live without each other

Lovely Lauren - As I already said, I tend to disagree. Mark knew that Addison didn't love him, he might have had some feelings for her, but I doubt it was real deep love. He let her go, because he knew they didn't have a chance, for once, he was just more than a manwhore and decided to be the better person and spare her feelings. He said he only returned because of Derek and I like to believe him. I love how Shonda sets things up now. Keeping the possibility of Mark going to LA very slim, good, so he won't leave a mess behind again.

Alex - He liked the thought that Addison wanted to start a fling with him, kinda felt flattered, but his real feelings for Ava were stronger than that.

Derek - Never saw anything sparkling between them. I could laugh about them, they had some funny scenes, but I didn't see them as a romantic couple.

During her short stay in LA, Addison told Pete more about herself than all the other guys together back at SGH. Pete saw a side of her, that not many people are allowed to see, it just clicked between them. And I'm sure that when the time is right Pete will let her in too, telling her about his wife and their relationship.
