I'm surprised Ace hasn't been brought back. Given how she is more like the modern companions, Ace would be the one that might feel most familiar to modern fans, and if it could lure more fans into giving the classic series a chance, even better.
 Ace - beat up one Dalek with a modified baseball bat, causing it to send out a distress call and also blew up another Dalek with a bazooka! Doesn't mess about. |

If Ace was to be brought back, I would only trust Ian Briggs to write the story. He created Ace, so would know exactly how to write an older Ace. Given how badly they treated the 1st Doctor in Twice Upon A Time, I am wary of modern writers touching the classic show. At least in the Big Finish audios, Ace is treated with respect.
