^ That's what I felt too. I hope they don't do that again. Or make a Doctor leave at the middle of the season. It's still torture having to wait out the CS on December knowing that it's Peter's last.

I don't know why Karen & Arthur had to leave mid of S7. Why didn't they do it until the end of the season? Was it because Matt was leaving too?

karen said quite early on that she would be leaving and I think Moffat wanted to avoid having to deal with a new companion= a new series, because i'd be quite heavy when it comes to exposition? He introduced Clara in asylum of the daleks to have the viewers think about Clara and wonder what is happening and then she comes back in the CS so by 7x01 part B the viewers had a fairly idea of what was going on and he saved two episodes that way?

I'd have preferred Rory and Amy to have left with the Eleventh Doctor

It's definitely one of my favourite episodes of Series Ten.

i feel with teh ponds they both wanted to leave and cause there story is interwined as a couple they had to leave at the same time .. i also think leaving mid way was best for them cause they could still go on and do other projects .. DW shoots 10 months out of a year or soemthing like that its a huge chunk of the year

That's a good point about Rory and Amy, but I really didn't want Rory to leave.

I knew that took months, but I couldn't remember just how long. It's crazy.

I didn't cry when Matt left, but I did when Rory did.

See i wished i did for matt cause i.lovee him as the doctor it just his ending wasnt a good one for his goodbye it wasnt .. .
