Oh yes, jelly babies are very much real. I used to get a bag of them for Chritsmas from my mom. She got them from store that imported them to places for americans.

As a kid, I guess I always thought Tom invented them. But I knew they were hard to get unless you actually lived over there! Being the only american fan in my neighborhood or school made it hard for me. But I loved the series and Tom was this magical wizard for me.

I would be very suprised if they didn't sell out during his tenure. Yes, the Doctor at the end of a good day is much like a wizard dont u think? Especially when u r talking about the notorious Tom Baker!

Thanks for sharing! I find Loiuse to be the best out of Tom's companions. They just work well together especially as teacher-student. Did u know Leela was originally created to be something akin to Eliza Dolittle?
