I was listening to a fan remix of the DW theme, and there was a comment that got me thinking.
Take a classic Doctor and drop them in place of a modern Doctor, or a modern Doctor into a classic story. Which would you pick?
I would swap out the 11th Doctor in The God Complex with the series 26 7th Doctor. The following clip makes me wish The God Complex really WAS a 7th Doctor story:

It would have fitted in nicely with the series 26 stories, where the Doctor is teaching Ace about the universe, all the while pushing her emotionally, guiding her towards a destiny that only the Doctor knows about.
