I'm both excited and wary about him doing the US version of Broadchurch. Excited, because it's more David, and excited because he'll get a chance to finally really expand his career to the US, and excited because it's a great show and it'll be fun to see it in a different light. But I'm also a little wary because well... I've heard his American accent a few times before, and while it's not horrible, it's also not the best ever.....
 and if I'm completely honest, I'd rather see him in something new than a sort of remake of something he has already done  ... But yeah. I'm sure it'll all be good, and he wouldn't have signed up for it if he hadn't thought it was the right direction to go in. He's always made great choices for his next roles, so I trust him with that.Have you all seen him with his new ponytail hair extensions for Richard II?  I love you David, but... not the best look  __________________

I HATE the pony tail look!! I have to laugh every time I see a picture of him with it. Definitely not a great look at all.
And I totally get it about him signing on to the American version. I have higher hopes for it now than I did before he signed on. Hopefully it is different enough that it will still be somewhat original. I will definitely be looking for more info on it as it comes out. I'm interested to see where they decide to film it. I hope it works to broaden is career into the US. More David Tennant is all I need in my life. __________________

I mean, I admire him for being so dedicated to the role that he'd choose to get actual hair extensions instead of just going with the wig, but.......
I do really hope it'll look better once they style it for him right now it just looks like a dead rat clinging to the back of his neck, sorry David.... Yeah, I agree  more David is definitely always a good thing!__________________

I don't think I even want to get used to it... As much as I love that he's doing Richard II, on this regard I can't wait until it's over so he can go back to having short hair

Okay so i'm going to london on the 1st of february to see Taylor Swift (yes again) and i thought "might as well check when David's playing Richard II" and turns out the play stops on the 25th of january  __________________

Oh wow that sucks that it's just a few days too late!
They're doing their first performance of Richard II *right* now reports say David is wearing gold nail varnish and flowing robes I really can't wait to see pics!__________________

Here's a video of David signing stuff at the stage door after Richard II the other day,
I love how incredibly patient he is with his fans and jokes around with them and makes sure everyone is feeling included, how he takes the time to do this every single time, even if it's raining or whatever. Not a lot of celebs who'd do the same __________________
