Although at that time, the malls are already super crowded.

^ That's much easier and convenient. I can do that too but I prefer shopping at the mall, especially for clothes.

I'm getting a bit busy with work these days. Perhaps they know we're all leaving for the incentive trip so they're just hurling us work all the time.

If I am not sure about a clothing size I will go to the store as well.

Right? UGH. Oh well. I guess that's expected.

How are the kids doing these days, Amy?

Croup? What's that?

Nephew is doing great. He's excited for Halloween. We're not big on Halloween here but ever since the nephew (and since 2013, I've been having nephews & nieces from cousins left & right), Halloween has become a big deal. He's recently seen Jurassic Park (the 1st movie) so he wants to be a dinosaur for Halloween.

Croup is a virus that causes the upper airway to become inflamed and they run a high fever for 3-5 days and have this horrible cough that sounds like a barking seal or dog. Plus if they cry or get winded the make that same sound when they are trying to draw a breath. It's pretty scary sounding. He still has a horrible junky cough but he doesn't sound like a barking seal or dog anymore and the fever is gone. Usually only kids 5 and under tend to get it. No one else in my house got it.

He will make a super cute dinosaur

It's a really big holiday in the US. I like it as far as the trick or treating for candy and the cute costumes. I don't like any of the scary parts of it and the scary or gory costumes.

Petra how do they know where they can trick or treat if most people don't celebrate.

Petra, I would've thought Halloween is a big deal over there. Most people go to the cemetery here to visit loved ones on October 31st/November 1st.

Amy, how long does the Croup take? Is there a medicine for that or we can wait it out?

Lindsay we are on day 9 and he still has a junky cough

Petra Halloween parties are so fun! we love having Trick or Treaters here but only because the children dressed up in costumes are so adorable I don't think I would like it as much if the kids did not look so cute in their costumes.
