Never had a gameboy or one of those hand held thingies, but I was totally addicted to my daughters DS. Everytime she went to play with it, I had it.

I was a bit too old for Pokemon as well but I remember being home one day, sick with something, and seeing that it was on tv and I watched one episode where jigglypuff sort of sang throughout. I think it was one of the most annoying things I ever saw.

DS are fun. I have a friend whose a huge gamer, has all the handheld systems and all the at home stuff too and I was constantly swiping the DS. But, I kept loosing the little pointer so he took it back.

You can buy new ones? I wish I'd have known that, I'd have just bought him new ones.

Yeah, we got ours from one of those computer/game stores. My daughter is one of those horrible teenagers who wants the latest of everything. She got her DS, and then she saw the DS Lite. Then she saw a pink one, and wanted that instead! Yeah, my credit card was saying "Oh hell no child! Get yerself a damn job"

The last time I played with a gameboy, they still had black and white screens.

I sold my old DS in Brazil because I wanted a DS Lite instead - I sold it there for about twice what the DS Lite costs in Holland because things like that are so much more expensive there, so when I got back home I bought the Lite

we're going swimming in these hot springs in a moment should be nice

I'm so bad with all those game thingies. I never really understood how to play them.

Have fun Val!

She's 14. But yay, she's getting a job soon, she's had her first interview a few days ago

Hi, how is everyone today?!
I've been in a wierd, blasé kind of mood today, I've mostly been watching bad tv shows to cheer me up, but I'm quite cheerful now!

Oooh, have fun Val. That sounds fantastic.

Awww...a teenager. I so don't envy you. Ah, yay a job. Retail?

I'm doing okay besides sounding awful. I have a horrid cold/flu and sound all husky and have been coughing like mad. Other than that I'm okay. Glad you're cheerful Siobhan.

glad you're feeling better Siobhan and I hope your flu goes away soon Mandy!

I don't know what it is but ever since I woke up today, my sight in one eye has been all blurry. I can't even look at the screen right I'm guessing it'll go back to normal once I've taken a shower though, so I'm going to do that in a minute

it's gradually getting better, still not completely fine. I keep going "MY VISION IS IMPAIRED, I CANNOT SEEEEE!" in a Dalek voice I'll just shove my contacts in now, maybe that'll magically make it better
