Yeah, my dad's always extra-bastardy at this time of year. Scrooge has nothing on him.

I don't even really like Top Gear that much- I can only really watch it if someone I like is on "Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car". Which someone is, tonight, so

Anyone remember how my radiator stopped working last month for about 5 days? Well, it happened again now. I AM SO COLD! Last time this happened it was about 10 degrees celsius outside, now it's freezing I AM GOING TO DIE GUYS! and this with Christmas! I don't think they'll come to fix it until after Christmas it was nice knowing you all....

That really sucks, surely someone is working that can fix it? I'd think that heating that works is rather important?

I like it, but I mainly watch for the "Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car", so I'm rather happy with tonights.

There must be some one to fix that *hands over blankets*
It is so cold, you simply cannot do without heat

I really hope it gets fixed soon it's out of my hands though, I hope my landlady gets someone to fix it by tomorrow! If not, I'm just going to buy one of those electrical heaters. No way I am going to spend Christmas trying not to die from the cold!

I do like Top Gear, but I don't usually watch it unless I'm really bored. Or unless the star in the reasonably-priced car is someone I like of course

10 degrees in your house?! Brrrr. I mean, that's pretty reasonable for outside in December, but INSIDE? You must be freezing

Yeah, I usually only watch it when it's 2AM and the only other thing that sounds remotely entertaining is called "Badly Dubbed Porn", so... yeah. Top Gear it is.

Yeah, spending christmas trying not to die from the cold doesn't sound fun.

I'd do that too, our heating stopped working a few days ago for just a few hours, and it sucked, so you have my full sympathy.

I just find Top Gear amusing, but I can't watch too much of it at once, it's one of those things.

My heating is working fine. I am so glad it is. We obviously didn't have them programmed to come on in the summer, and then it turned into monsoon season and for the first couple of nights Mum didn't put it on because we expected it to get better, but it rained practically solidly from May through to September in County Durham. We were freezing to death.

Talking of This Summer (capital letters needed) I'm watching a clip from Mock the Week- Too Hot for TV, when they're talking about a priest blaming all the pro-gay legislation for the flooding and how little sense it makes. "Yorkshire, of course, noted as a hotbed for the gay community" .

It did the same over here in Worcestershire, my town is based around the river severn, so that made it worse, luckily, we weren't affected by flooding.

Mock the Week!

Oookay, that's a strange thing to claim.

Well, lots of places around where I live were affected- but our village is on top of a huge hill and the river is waaaay at the bottom and we're on a slope, so that's pretty much the only reason we weren't flooded.

I know. It's insane. God is punishing us for being too permissive of homosexuality, apparently. They point out that Brighton wasn't affected and so how can that be true?

I've finally got my christmas spirit, before I wasn't too fussed but now I can't stop smiling and singing christmas songs.

How is everyone else?

That's a good way of keeping warm, keep active while actually doing something fun.

I think I'm going to have to go for a walk in a bit because I got up at 1:30 today, and I want to be able to sleep tonight, and get up early tommorow.
